Hello, and welcome to the official Beasts of Inallo ARPG! This journal covers all rules and and community guidelines. These apply to everyone, regardless of whether you are a player or part of the Inallo Staff Team. This is to ensure our ARPG maintains a healthy and friendly environment at all times! Please be aware that not reading this journal, or being unaware of certain rules, are not excuses for breaking them. Intentionally breaking our rules and guidelines may result in disciplinary action being taken. If you are confused or have any questions/concerns, please contact us through the [HELPDESK] or in our public [DISCORD] server. Thank you!

OFFICIAL CONTENT DISCLAIMER

Official content in the Beasts of Inallo APRG such as; the species itself, commissioned or volunteer artwork/CSS, item art, concept art, official imports, background packs, written information, and other official content are to remain within the ARPG. With toyhou.se being the only exception for designed and uploaded imports owned by players. Inallo has full rights to edit or discontinue any official content within it that it owns. All official content is copyrighted to the Beasts of Inallo ARPG. However, credit for the species itself is not constantly required. Any imports or genos owned by accounts banned from art sites the ARPG is hosted on risk being marked as voided, their official import redesigned, and used as Wild Verian. We also do not take responsibility for the actions of our players, nor the transactions made between them, but we will take action if they are reported with proper evidence. By choosing to join our ARPG, you agree that you have read the policy and rules outlined in our official content, and that you will follow them as you participate in the game itself.

SECTION I: UNIVERSAL/CODE OF CONDUCT

  1. RESPECT: Please remain respectful to other players, and the Beasts of Inallo Staff Team [admins/moderators].
  2. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Your account must be at least 1 month old in order to join our ARPG. This includes having some form of art or literature already on your account. We have this rule in place due to the existence of bot/spam accounts, previously banned members, and accounts created solely for malicious intentions. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis!
  3. KEEP IT PG-13: Artwork and literature submitted directly to our ARPG cannot contain sensitive or adult-oriented content. Suggestive material and minor gore/blood is fine, as long as it has a proper filter over it. While we don't completely forbid adult-oriented content, it must be posted on a different site. When linked in trackers, it must be censored in some way and have a warning put in place. Adult content includes but is not limited to; NSFW themes/images, extreme gore, body horror, and sensitive material. If you're unsure of what is or isn't considered adult-orientated content, please contact an admin!
  4. SUBMISSIONS: Everything submitted to the group must be relevant to Inallo in some way. Non-relevant submissions will be declined or removed.
  5. ADVERTISEMENTS: Advertisements may only be re-submitted once every 24-hours. This applies to a single advertisement. You may re-submit your advertisement as many times as you like, as long as its not spammed. Please keep in mind that your advertisement must be relevant to Inallo!
  6. NO THEFT: Copying, tracing, or plagiarizing art, literature, or journals from Beasts of Inallo, regardless of whether it was from official content or another player, will result in an instantaneous and permanent ban.
  7. NO BEGGING: Begging is incredibly rude and makes other players uncomfortable. Don't beg for free or discounted stuff! This includes but is not limited to; artwork, literature, breeding slots, genos, uploaded imports, in-game items, currency of any kind, etc.
  8. NO SLURS: Offensive/Discriminatory language or slurs should not be in Verian names, import descriptions, etc. However, a minimal amount of swear words are allowed in import descriptions (does not include names). Excessive swearing will be flagged for corrections.
  9. NO DISCRIMINATION: This ARPG doesn't tolerate discrimination against other people due to their race, nationality, ethnicity, religion, craft, sexuality, gender identity, mental illness, disorder, disability, etc. This is also an LGBTQ+ friendly ARPG, where gate-keeping is prohibited. Discriminatory messages and language will never be tolerated. If you make very offensive and insensitive jokes, then this ARPG is not for you.
  10. NO UNSAVORY ACTIONS/BEHAVIOR: Inappropriate actions or behavior is prohibited. This includes but is not limited to; intentionally harassing or provoking other users, sparking drama, spreading a false narrative or false accusations, stalkerish behavior, sexual harassment, throwing insults, or any other actions/behavior deemed abusive, disruptive, creepy, predatory, uncomfortable, etcetera.
  11. NO LOOPHOLES/CHEATING: Exploiting a loophole, or cheating, is when you purposely try to find a way around existing rules. This is considered a serious offense and will not be taken lightly. Examples of loopholing or cheating include but are not limited to; using multiple accounts to bypass participation limits, using other players to assist in winning raffles/contests/events, intentionally trying to gain an unfair advantage over other players, asking for special treatment, etc. If you are caught knowingly exploiting a loophole, you will automatically gain a strike 2 or above, depending on how many warnings and strikes you already have. Continuing to exploit loopholes will result in an instantaneous and permanent ban.

THREE-STRIKE SYSTEM

Inallo officially has a 3-strike system in regards to rule-breaking. This system is divided by warnings and strikes. Warnings are used to let players know that they are breaking a rule, and that they shouldn't do it again. If you gain a specific amount of warnings, you will receive a strike and receive disciplinary action. In more severe cases, warnings may be bypassed to grant an automatic strike. We will only skip the strike system entirely if your behavior is beyond unacceptable.
  • 2 warnings = Strike 1
  • 4 warnings = Strike 2
  • 6 warnings = Strike 3
  • Strike 1 = low disciplinary action
  • Strike 2 = low/moderate disciplinary action
  • Strike 3 = high disciplinary action + risk of being perma-banned
Disciplinary actions may include any of the following:
  • Blacklisted from participating in future ARPG events & activities
  • Suspension from the ARPG, for a specific period of time
  • Permanently banned (or "perma-banned") from the ARPG & community
  • All imports, genos, & vault contents marked as voided [perma-banned only]
  • Muted in the server for a set amount of time [discord only]
  • Getting kicked from the server entirely [discord only]
  • Permanent ban from the server entirely [discord only]
  • Blacklisted from participating in future givewaways [discord only]

Suspension periods can last anywhere from 1 month to 6 months, depending on the severity of the situation. If you return from a suspension and continue to break our rules and guidelines, this will result in a permanent ban from the group and community. Most of these will be taken on a case-by-case basis. However, if your actions/behavior is unacceptable the strike system will be skipped completely, and an automatic permanent ban will occur. This includes creating a new or alt account to circumnavigate your ban. You may have a grace period, which lasts two (2) months, to sell/trade/gift your uploaded Verian/Familiar imports, or willingly have them marked them as deceased. This includes items. If you have any items left in your Vault by the end of this grace period, your Vault's contents will be permanently voided. Any existing imports or genos that are still under your name, by the time this grace period ends, will be voided as well.

If you've been permanently banned and believe it is unjust or unfair, you may submit an appeal to the group owner, moonflowerrs. Please provide substantial proof of your claims when submitting your appeal. In the event that a ban is lifted, you will not be able to regain anything you have previously owned.

HARASSMENT POLICY/REPORT SYSTEM

Harassment and bullying is not tolerated, regardless of who it is. This ARPG is meant to be a safe place for people to hang out and relax. If another player is harassing or bullying you, please do not hesitate to privately contact us with proper evidence such as screenshots, comment links, archives, etc. This is to prevent people from reporting others, with the intent to get them suspended or banned from the group, due to spite or general dislike towards them (aka loop-holing the harassment report system). We cannot do anything if we are not given evidence of their behavior. We will not take action on a harassment report if the incident does not involve Inallo in some way, unless the situation is deemed severe enough (such as a stalker following you into the group and causing drama/trouble with the Inallo community). We desire to keep our players and staff safe.

If you believe a staff member is abusing their powers to harass or bully you, then please privately contact moonflowerrs. Reports of staff member abuse is taken very seriously, as they are also violating team guidelines. Mistreatment towards players and other staff members is completely unacceptable.

Please be aware that falsifying a report may get you in trouble instead.

CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM

Beasts of Inallo is always open to suggestions and potential changes to the group! A large portion of our group runs on the opinions of our players, so we take your suggestions and complaints seriously. When submitting a suggestion or complaint, please be aware of the significant difference between being constructive, destructive, or just flat out whining about something. For example, "I don't like [blank]!" or "this sucks!" does not help us at all. Something like "[blank] could be [blank] instead, because [blank]" is far more helpful! Extremely rude and destructive comments or complaints do not help us either.

Please do not use our suggestion box and helpdesk system to loophole other rules in our group.

SECTION II: OFFICIAL IMPORTS

  1. Import templates cannot be altered unless a decoration item of some kind is added.
  2. Decorations added to your Verian should not represent in-game physical traits.
  3. Decorations added to your Verian should not represent or contain hate speech, racist propaganda, swastikas, etc.
  4. Please not use our import templates for anything other than designs being submitted, decoration examples, and experimenting for fun.
  5. Keep comments to a minimum on uploaded imports. You may comment a tracker, but no more than that.
  6. If an import hasn't officially been uploaded, the Verian cannot participate in any group activities. It MUST be officially approved/verified by a staff member. Import designs must follow the present guidelines, and our admins will either approve a design or reject it at their own discretion. Objective criticism will be provided by an admin, if a design has failed to meet the group's standards, and will approve the design once proper changes are made.
  7. Do not upload imports with designs to your account or anywhere else besides toyhou.se! Toyhou.se uploads should be treated as art storage purposes only. We will politely ask you to remove the import from your gallery, or another website such as FurAffinity, if you upload it there. If it is not removed, we will take appropriate action to have it removed. Imports should only be uploaded to official databases. The only exception to uploading an import to your gallery is if you are selling a decoration item, and you are using the import as a mannequin to show how the item would appear on a Verian.
  8. Designs that include the following will be automatically rejected:
    1. Markings or features that are heavily based off of previously copyrighted material
    2. Markings or features that resemble, or are based on, religious or political material
    3. Markings or features that reference or showcase offensive symbols, emblems, or flags

DECEASING

You may choose to mark your Verian or Familiar as deceased at any time for any reason. The design still belongs to you and may be transferred to another species. A deceased Verian or Familiar will no longer be able to participate in the group, and its import can no longer be updated as well. It will essentially remain untouched! If you are only taking a break from our ARPG, it is recommended that you do not decease them, as they will still be here when you get back. Nobody should be harassing you for being inactive (and if they are, it is considered harassment and should be reported). Please be aware that deceasing your Verian or Familiar is permanent.

VOIDING

Voiding is DIFFERENT than deceasing. When a Verian or Familiar has been voided; the ID is reused, the design is replaced, and ownership will be transferred to the group [whether temporarily or permanently]. You may choose to mark your Verian or Familiar as voided at any time for any reason. Please be aware that voiding your Verian or Familiar is permanent.

REVIVING

Under VERY RARE specific/special circumstances, a Verian may be revived by admins. Otherwise, once an Verian has been labeled as deceased, it cannot be revived at all.

SECTION III: CREATIVITY

  1. You cannot re-use old artwork or literature (YCHs don't count for this).
  2. Don't reference directly from another artist's artwork.
  3. Any resources used must be credited.
  4. F2U bases/templates/etc are allowed to be used for miscellaneous purposes only. They will not count for MP.
  5. Images of plushies and sculptures of a Verian are allowed to be submitted, as long as each photo is different.
  6. Literature is allowed and even encouraged! However, there should be no plagiarizing. It should also have a clear beginning and end, unless the story explicitly has chapters.
  7. Use of stock photos is allowed, but you must follow any rules the photographer has. Photo manipulation also is allowed, as long as it has a certain amount of changes and is edited properly. For example, slapping a filter over an image but changing nothing else will not qualify and cannot be submitted.
  8. Using other Verian or other ARPG/CS species as prey items is strictly forbidden, and any entries depicting it will not be rolled. These characters can be very close to people's hearts, and drawing your Verian hunting/killing them can be hurtful or cause resentment between groups. Fighting/conflict is allowed, but you should never treat another ARPG/CS character as prey.
  9. All non-commissioned work must be submitted to your own gallery on DeviantART. If you do not want it in your main gallery, please use the scraps function. This rule is in place to deter loopholing/cheating.

SECTION IV: COMMERCE

  1. Open-ended deals are strictly prohibited.
  2. Don't send unsolicited messages or notes to other players. It is very rude to do so!
  3. Please remove your advertisement once all deals on it are finished or cancelled.
  4. It is recommended, but not required, that advertisements with completed deals are not deleted.
  5. While this is not a rule, selling Verian or items you've received as a gift is frowned upon, and considered rude.
  6. When selling a geno, please make sure the buyer is aware of how genos work and what to do with it, especially if they are new to ARPGs and do not know how they function.
  7. When selling an Verian Import, you must let the buyer be aware of all past and present deals regarding it's breeding slots.
  8. It is recommended to wait until payment for it is completed before transferring anything Inallo related to anyone.
  9. If you are caught hiding transfer comments sometime after a deal has been completed, and hasn't been officially processed, this will result in an automatic strike. (ex: hiding an ownership transfer before an admin can get to it)
  10. Any comments on imports asking or harassing for breeding slots will be hidden. If you do this repeatedly, you will receive a warning at minimum.
  11. Being dishonest, or not honoring your end of the deal, can result in a warning or strike depending on the situation.
  12. In the event of a seller canceling an art deal without good reason and without compensation, they cannot redeem the completed artwork/literature for rolls or MP.
  13. Don't hide/storage artwork or literature for completed deals. Doing so is considered scamming, and will be treated as such.

SECTION V: BREEDING-SPECIFIC

  1. Unlimited slots are strictly prohibited.
  2. A Verian must have earned it's Salutations in order to breed.
  3. Sold breeding slots must be available for immediate usage.
  4. Breeding slots marked as "used" by an admin cannot be used again.
  5. A deadline or "must be used by" rule cannot be added to a written breeding slot. Ever.
  6. All written breeding slots remain valid, even if the Verian is sold to another owner. You cannot "cancel" written slots.
  7. Hiding breeding slot permission comments, or pestering past owners to hide them, can result in getting a strike.
  8. If a breeding slot permission is written before the Verian was labeled as deceased, you may still use it.
  9. You are not allowed to sell or resell a breeding slot to a Verian not owned by you, unless given permission by the owner, or you have payed for the breeding slot yourself with real currency.
  10. You are not allowed to sell breeding slots to a Verian that does not have its Salutations completed, or otherwise doesn't meet the requirements it needs to participate in breeding. This includes promising slots in exchange for currency, goods, or services. The only exception to this is if you are offering slots in exchange for the completion of Salutations. You are also allowed to reserve breeding slots for someone if no payment is exchanged. Otherwise, attempting to sell slots to Verian that cannot breed, or has no more available slots, may get you banned from the breeding aspect of the game.
  11. Slots may not have any restricting rules attached to them. This includes the following:
    1. Requiring buyers to return clutches to them in exchange for a reroll, if they do not get what they were hoping for
    2. Sellers requiring players to give slots to a certain type of geno, if it is born
    3. Sellers requiring players to gift a certain geno to them, if it is born (this would have to be rolled as a split)
  12. Slot Rules that ARE allowed:
    1. How the slot can be resold, traded, or gifted
    2. If the slot can be used in a split with another member
    3. If inbreeding/Legendary+Mythic breeding is allowed
    4. If the slot cannot be used with another Verian with x trait or gene
    5. If the slot asks that the Verian's owner be tagged
  13. Slots may not be traded, gifted, or sold if the Verian has their slot allowance for their rank maxed out.
    1. Using slots outside of the limit is considered "overbreeding" your Verian, and it has dire consequences if done repeatedly.
    2. An overbreeding will occur if someone posts a breeding with an Verian with maxed out slots.
    3. The first time an overbreeding occurs, the Verian will be "marked." This initial warning will be removed upon ranking up to the next tier/rank.
    4. The second time, the Verian will become infertile.
    5. The third time, the Verian will be rendered sterile, and will be unable to breed permanently.
    6. Verian will have their imports updated with the date that they became infertile/sterile.
    7. Slots written before these dates may still be used by players without any penalty.
    8. If you are working on a payment for a slot, and the Verian is marked as infertile/sterile before you have the slot written to you, please contact an admin.
    9. If you are able to provide proof of when you started on the payment, then you may be eligible to still use the slot without penalty.
    10. If you have not started the payment, then we would not compensate for it and would encourage you to cancel the transaction.
